Training of trainers workshop on the harmonization of the governance approach for setting up Local Water Committees (CLE)

From 15 to 17 February, a training workshop for trainers was held in the meeting room of the Directorate General of Hydraulic Infrastructures in Ouagadougou, on the harmonization of the governance approach for the establishment of Local Committees for Water, Water (CLE). This meeting brought together the five water agencies of Burkina Faso Koom (Nakanbe, Mouhoun, Gourma, Liptako and Cascades), the SP-IWRM and the technical and financial partner Faso Koom.

It was therefore a matter for the participants to reflect on a harmonized approach that would allow water agencies to set up the CLEs in their respective management areas, based on the “Document Guide to Design, Functioning of the Local Water Committees (2010) “.
As a result, a consensus-based approach and common vision for the operational implementation of the 07 steps of the guidance document was found, and an operational report for each step was also produced.
