IWRM conference for the benefit of ENEP students in Fada N’gourma

On May 28, 2015, the conference on Integrated Water Resources Management was held in the ENEP auditorium in Fada N’Gourma.

Having experienced the participation of a hundred people composed of master students, faculty, and administration. The work took place in plenary focusing mainly on three points, including explanatory presentations followed by discussions.

Begin around 3:40 p.m., under the Chairmanship of Mr. Director General of ENEP de Fada, in his opening speech, Mr. DG briefly situate the context in which the conference takes place and invited all world has effective participation. In view of the importance of the agenda, and without prejudging, the President nevertheless affirms that he is convinced that at the end of the exchanges, the results will be conclusive and on those, he declared open the said conference.

Three (03) communications were on the agenda the first on the National Water Policy and Integrated Water Resources Management presented by the Director General of the Liptako Water Agency, the second on the institutional framework for water management and the Gourma Water Agency led by the General Director of the AEG and the last one focused on Laws and regulations on water in Burkina Faso presented Ms. PALM representing Mr. SG of MARHASA.

In view of the exhaustion of the program and the achievement of the objectives, the DG of ENEP first gave a brief reminder of the progress of the work and then closed the meeting at around 6.30 p.m. by thanking all participants for their frank contributions.
